TIPS Onsite Vendor Training February 4th

WOOSTER, Ohio— February 4, 2025 — Turning Point Coalition, in partnership with Wayne County Coalitions, is hosting TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures) Onsite Alcohol Vendor Training at NO charge. The purpose of TIPS is to help prevent the sale of alcohol to youth and intoxicated individuals. Attendees will also learn how to detect fake identification, the ins and outs of Ohio’s sales and service laws, how to refuse a sale or service, recognizing impairment, how to deal with underage customers and more. TIPS will empower your hard-working employees to provide safe, excellent service to your customers.

The TIPS Onsite Alcohol Vendor Training will be held Tuesday, February 4th from 9 AM to 3 PM for employees of restaurants, hotels, bars, and nightclubs. It will be held at the OARDC Fisher Auditorium, 1680 Madison Avenue in Wooster. There will be two 15-minute breaks and a half hour for lunch, which will be provided.
