Join Wayne County Coalitions and OneEighty in remembering those who have lost their lives to addiction.
Overdose is the leading cause of death for people ages 18 to 45 in the United States, with 107,543 overdose deaths in 2023. International Overdose Awareness Day (IOAD) is observed annually on August 31 to create a better understanding of overdose, reduce the stigma of substance-related deaths, and create change that reduces the harms associated with substance use. Please join us in remembering those who lost their lives to addiction and stop by one of our information tables on August 30th.
